Neighborhood Coalition
Join us in building safer, stronger neighborhoods—one block, one family, one step at a time. Your support helps turn care and action into real transformation.
Our mission is to support neighborhoods through strategic partnerships so communities can flourish.
How We Do It
Our mission is anchored by three primary goals:
Reducing Blight
We restore neglected properties and maintain community spaces to create safer, cleaner, and more welcoming neighborhoods.
Developing Housing
We develop affordable, sustainable housing that helps families achieve stability while rebuilding strong, connected communities.
Creating Jobs
We create local employment opportunities through construction, maintenance, and development that strengthen the local economy.
Our Active Programs
City of Lights installs free LED string lights in front yards to make neighborhoods safer and more connected:
Safer Streets: Brighter outdoor lighting improves visibility and helps deter crime.
Stronger Community: A shared light display builds neighborhood pride and connection.
Local Jobs: The program creates employment opportunities for residents.
Lawn Care
Our Lawn Care Program keeps residential yards and vacant lots clean through regular mowing and maintenance.
Stronger Neighborhoods: Clean, cared-for spaces build pride and safety.
Community Support: We assist residents who need help maintaining their property.
Local Jobs: The program provides and grows employment opportunities.
Brick by Brick helps individuals and families achieve homeownership and long-term stability.
Build Stability: Homeownership creates a foundation for generational wealth.
Community Investment: Families become active, long-term contributors to their neighborhoods.
Lasting Impact: Sustainable housing supports strong, vibrant communities.
